Sunday Gatherings

** Please note that at this time, due to Covid-19 restrictions, worship is mostly available online. Limited in person seating is available by registration (click the banner on the Home page to check availability.)  In addition, all of our classes are being held online, with the exception of some of our events for students.  Visit our webpage or YouTube channel to watch our live stream worship this Sunday!

The Body of Christ comes together on Sundays to worship, to see and encourage one another, and to be encouraged because of the hope we have through Christ. Come join us!

  • 9:00 am Classes for all ages

Sundays during the school year begin with classes for all ages. Preschoolers to adults will learn about God and life with Him through a variety of topics. Nursery care is always provided, beginning at the 9:00 hour. We invite you to come and learn more about God's Word to us! Have a cup of coffee and sit in on a class, while your children are cared for by our staff of teachers.

  • 10:00 am Worship

Our worship service is led by our pastors and worship band and is designed to be relevant, accessible, and understandable for those visiting. If you have questions, please reach out to us. While we are a Presbyterian Church (USA), we think upon visiting you'll find we're not your grandmother's church! Every Sunday we seek to authentically worship God and want you to come just as you are. We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of the month. A Cry Room is available for families with small children to provide a comfortable place for everyone to worship. Nursery care is also available.

Children from PreK-5th grade are invited to join in SPARK, a children’s worship service, in the Ignition Room during the 10 am service. The children’s service includes singing and dancing, Bible stories, and hands-on activities. Children will also join the regular service for a quarterly Family Worship Service, where they hear a special story and participate in small and large ways!

Our sermons during worship focus on a variety of themes throughout the year. Pastors Mark and Rachel preach from God's Word, while allowing God to apply what we have learned to our lives. We invite you to join us this Sunday!

What to Expect

You are welcome to visit us any time. You don't need to call ahead, dress up, or worry about standing at the right time. We seek to make our worship services visitor friendly, without awkward moments! Have a cup of coffee on your way in, located just inside our front doors. Our greeters will give you a bulletin (and be sure you pick up a visitors' gift bag!) so you can follow what is going on during the worship service. Sit wherever you would like. Afterwards, around 11:15 am, we have a time of fellowship and refreshments right in the church sanctuary. Stay and visit for a few minutes. We're looking forward to meeting you! Our Sunday schedule is below.

Our main gatherings at Orenco Church are Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Our pastors focus on preaching series relevant and timely for us, seeking to help us grow in our faith, while engaging those who are asking questions and seeking Christ. Special teaching series are also occasionally offered, in addition to Sunday morning classes and various Bible studies held throughout the week. See our calendar for a weekly schedule, or read more about our adult ministries.

We invite you to listen to Pastor Mark and Pastor Rachel's sermons online. A DVD of our September 2015 teaching series, "Digital Addiction and the Shaping of Our Lives" is available in the church office, or you may also view these videos online.

Our current Wednesday evening series is taught by Pastors Mark and Rachel. Come join us at 6 pm each Wednesday in April for "Jonah: Running Away from God." We begin with a potluck dinner, and nursery care is available. Our children's and teens' ministries also meet Wednesday evenings.
